
Evolve Golf Course Design Ltd. is headed up by design principal, Neil White, a long time admirer and student of both the 'art' of golf course architecture coupled with its rich history.
He has over 15 years of experience in the golf business having previously worked in greenkeeping; a career that has given him a unique perspective of how design influences playability and maintenance practices, and has visited in excess of 350 courses throughout the UK, Europe and America.
Working as a freelance course architect, Neil is currently assisting on several projects throughout the UK and Europe for world-renowned architects such as Simon Gidman, David Hemstock and Ken Moodie, undertaking site analysis, routing options and CAD detailed design.

E.I.G.C.A Qualification in Golf Course Design

In April 2015 Neil successfully completed the European Institute of Golf Course Architecture's accredited vocational qualification in golf course design where he achieved a distinction for his studies, and is currently working toward becoming a full member.
This stand-out qualification sees the EIGCA select four or five individuals biennially worldwide to participate in the program, ultimately assisting them make the transition from student to associate member of the EIGCA. For the duration
of the qualification Neil worked closely with EIGCA Senior Member and Past President, Simon Gidman.
Alongside his design practice, Neil writes for regional golf magazine, Midlands Golfer, primarily covering course reviews.
A member of Enville Golf Club, Neil plays off a handicap of 12.
